Snow

Well Sunday afternoon the kids wanted to go out and make a snowman. Ryker was so proud that they made it by themselves! He had to tell everybody! He even wrote about it on his Christmas card to his teacher. This was a very special snowman cause he has a Mowhawk! Glad the boys had fun. I cant wait till Church starts at 11:00 next year. Sundays seem so long!

Vegas

Well I am finally getting to blog about our trip. We drove down last thursday and went to the Rodeo that night. It makes for some really good people watching! We went early to walk around all the booths and stuff and we shopped one of the cowboy christmas conventions. I could have made a lot of money with a bunch of t-shirts and a bedazzler! The rodeo was fun to watch. Friday we did more shopping, of course we had to go to the Bass Pro Shop. And the casino next to it had a huge fish tank with a cute little mermaid in it. Pretty stupid but the only pictures I took of the trip were of the mermaid and Mike at the Bass Pro Shop! Mike and I went to a seafood buffet and it was two for one if you had a players club card so the couple behind us let us use one of their cards. Mike and I got all you can eat crab legs, shrimp, prime rib, etc for only $20. AWESOME! Mike met up with his friend Rob and we watched a few games on the big screens. Saturday I met up with our Vegas Craguns and did a little shopping. I love to talk to the girls they are so much fun to be with. I wish we spent more time with them. That night Boone and Mandy took us to dinner at the Hash House A GO GO. Let me just say they brought the dinner out on plates that were big enough to be turkey platters! Mike ordered a hamburger and he said it was like they put six patties into one. HUGE! It was good food though. They also serve waffles with chicken. Hmmmmmm. Later that night we went to go see the Blue Man group. It was pretty funny, the show went by pretty fast. Mike had already seen them before and kept telling me about all the things they did in the show he saw. Sounds like they need a little bit of new material. Sunday we woke up and drove home. With a short stop in St. George for lunch at the outlets. They had mongolian BBQ. And of course me and jenny shopped a few stores. Dont feel too bad for the boys though, we also stopped at Cabelas! Well it is good to be home. Not good the be in freezing cold snow. My poor kids got ear infections and Grammy had to take them to the DR while we were gone and then poor Kaden threw up this morning. YUCK!!! Cant wait till summer!! Or Vegas again!
P.S. I am sick of the cheesy "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" quotes. Especially ones that replace Vegas with something stupid like "what happens in the office Stays in the office" hahaha. Not Funny. Not funny anymore. Not funny at all.

Never a dull moment

Well today started off normal, rushing to get to church on time. Ryker had to give a talk in primary and Mike was speaking in Sacrament meeting. While Ryker was giving his talk I was sitting behind him and I thought he was starting to cry. What? Why is he crying? Is he that emotional? Nope. Come to find out he was sick. I stood up next to him and he stepped back from the podium and threw up all over the floor. In front of the whole primary. We were lucky none of the other kids followed his example. Poor Ryker. We grabbed a garbage can, wiped up the mess and took him home. Thanks to the Gals in primary who helped clean up. It is not good having to clean up someones throwup! We then disinfected the area. Grampy came over and sat with Ryker so I could stay and listen to Mikes talk (sort of, I still had Aspen) Well Ryker is fine now and he ate Two turkey steaks for dinner and want to make cookies tonight. Go figure!

Seriously!

Here I am trying to upload photos and my batteries die. Mike keeps stealing my good camera batteries for the wii remotes! Anyway, I do have a few pics of the boys new beds. Aspen found Rykers Cars slippers and I thought she looked way cute with her little red jammies. We went to Cabelas this weekend and it was fun cause this time we shopped for ME! (I needed new snow boots) Then I got to go see Twilight with the girls. It was so much fun. Even though I thought the movie was a little lacking it made up for it with all the hot guys with their shirts off. HEEHEEHEE. Then Sunday we had the day to stay home and do nothing after church. Week 2 of sitting by myself with three kids during Sacrament meeting. I didnt have to take Aspen out at all. She likes to tease the people who sit behind us and play peek a boo. It felt good to stay home. Actually got a little bored.

On an entirely different subject I am very excited for my brother and sister who had a tiny baby girl. Chet and Abby had little Lucy and she decided to come early. I get the feeling Mom and Dad are in for it! (haha) She is 3 lbs 10 oz and 16 in long. She will stay in the NICU for a few weeks but they said she is doing great! She has a ton of hair and is a sweet little bundle. I can't tell if she looks like Chet or Abby yet just from pictures but she still has cute little cheeks.
Just click on the picture to see. Sorry my computer skills are non-existant.

This is Halloween!

The gang trick or treating by the light of the moon! OOOOHHHHHH!

My favorite! Witchy-Poo! I love Grandma!

This is us. Mike went as Doc Brown from Back to the future. He won the costume contest at his school. I was an angel and I was with Aspen, my little devil. Kaden was black spiderman and Ryker was Harry Potter.

CANDY, Trick-or-treating, weird science experiments(Thanks to mike) and fun with family!

Harvest Time

Well we didn't plant a ton this year but Ryker planted carrots. You would think most people would be proud of having the largest veggies ever, but not my Ryker they liked the tiny carrots cause they were cute! Thanks to Gage for letting us use his garden to plant pumpkins. I am excited to have squash. YUM! It is such a fun time of year I cant wait till halloween. I dont want winter to ever come! Although it will be nice for hunting season to be over. Mike is very happy with his deer. Next comes Basketball.

Not for the Weak!

Well being how this time of year our lives revolve around hunting here are a few pics of the antelope hunt and the bear hunt. I cant wait till this weekend is over! Me and the kids try to do things all weekend to stay busy so it will hopefully just fly by.
